First FReDA Autumn School

The first FReDA Autumn School, a collaboration of the Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB) and the research unit Interdisciplinary Public Policy (IPP) Mainz was held from September 18 to 20, 2023, at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. FReDA – The German Family Demography Panel Study is an interdisciplinary, long-term study about families and partnerships in Germany. Participants are between the ages of 18 and 49. Twice a year, FReDA surveys its participants and their partners. Data from the recruitment wave are now available for free for scientific and non-commercial purposes. This includes completed surveys from over 37,000 participants. Beginning in the summer of 2023, data from the complete first wave and the partner survey are also available. More information about the study can be found on the FReDA website.

You can find the final programme here.

The next FReDA School will take place at JGU Mainz in 2024.
