If you are changing your program of study or university location<\/em>, you must submit a placement\/credit transfer certificate for your enrollment. Your placement in a particular academic semester depends on how many course certificates relevant to the program of study in Sociology at Mainz University you have acquired. <\/p>\n\n

In order to receive a classification, you must therefore present the course certificates (Scheine) you have already obtained to the academic advisory office. To do this, please fill out the form for credit notices from the university administration. Afterwards, please take these to the academic advisory office for office hours. The academic advisory office will examine your proposal and classify it directly for the Diplom, Magister, Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree programs. Find out in advance about the relevant course certificates using the examination regulations or module catalogs of the respective degree programs. Equivalent content and (examination) achievements are particularly important here. It is therefore necessary that you bring information about the content and type of your academic performance to the academic advisory office. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
